Patrick Cannell is a composer and producer based in Los Angeles, California and Brooklyn, New York. Recent projects include the scores to Academy Award-nominated writer/director José Rivera’s The Fall of a Sparrow, Academy Award and Golden Globe-nominated director Zaza Urushadze’s Anton, and director Rashaad Ernesto Green’s Premature which premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.

Beyond film, projects include Academy Award-nominated director Henry Alex Rubin's large-scale symphonic commercial for Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx thanking Covid-19 hospital workers, string quartet arrangements for a 36-performance multimedia event in Brooklyn's historic Green Wood Cemetery honoring victims of police injustice (featured in the NY Times, New York Magazine, The National Review and WXQR FM radio), an upcoming Netflix original series from Academy Award-nominated writer/director Carlos Saldanha (Ice Age, Rio, Ferdinand), Clio and Cannes Gold Lion award-winning TV, Internet and Super Bowl commercials, the score for an innovative Broadway musical dramedy, and orchestral scores for permanent exhibits at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C.
